I’m excited to tell you that my MacBook Pro is fixed. The problem was indeed a broken harddisk. I have replaced it with a new one and I’m now busy getting all my programs installed again. I still can’t believe how lucky I am that I’ve backed up the day before yesterday. I would have lost so much stuff really. Thanks to Time Machine in Mac OS X I have restored everything pretty easily and got my whole user account the way I left it for the most part. Because I didn’t have enough space to back up everything I had to drop programs and system settings. But after all that isn’t so much of a problem, I experienced slowdowns anyway. So now it’s like I’ve got a new Mac. Very nice!
So now my job is to install all my software again.

I have just realised I lost my tracklist database though. Dammit. Oh well. I’ll work something out to restore it from the tracklists I’ve put on the Livesets page. I hope It will work.

-update- : My music project are broken too, so I can’t finish them.

I have a very good advise for all of you: BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!

Bad karma!

So if everyone hasn’t heard yet…… I’m grounded for the next 3 months. Why? Because katie decided to rat me out and tell my parents about the 12 pack i was hiding in my room. My parents are asian, and all of you know that asian parents are fucking strict. 12 cans = 3 months of being grounded. little over the top? not if your parents are asian and your sister is a filthy bitch.

Since all I can do and all I’ll ever for the next 2 and a half months involve sitting on the computer all day, I thought I’d get a little revenge today. Everyone out there might think my sister is such a sweet and innocent girl, but a few days ago I decided to go treasure hunting in her room and found a little something special hidden in her closet. this will make the next 2.5 months bearable.

Ladies and gentlemen….. my sister is a whore.
